Privacy Policy — “Ya-Hram”

Introduction
“Ya-Hram” (the “App”) is an informational and communication application connecting Christian churches and parishioners. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights.

Controller
The data controller for the App is the entity or person specified in the App Store / Google Play developer contact information. If you need to contact us about privacy, please use the developer contact email provided in the store listing.

Data We Collect

Account information: email address, full name, country and city (text), and role selection (“Church” or “Parishioner”).
Optional contact: phone number if provided by the user.
Profile content: photos, church descriptions, services, textual lists of shop items or literature added by church representatives, and content created through the admin content constructor (news, charity posts, requests for help, comments if enabled).
Messages and chats: messages exchanged in one-to-one chats between users and churches.
Location data: approximate location used to show nearby churches when the user grants location permission. The App integrates Yandex Maps and may rely on the map provider for geolocation features.
Device & technical data: device identifiers, app version, operating system, and basic diagnostics needed to operate the service and troubleshoot errors.
Content uploads: images uploaded by users (photos saved to the server /photos folder and resized on upload).

How We Use Your Data

To create and manage your account and profile.
To display and search for nearby churches on the map and to provide church details, services, and catalog content.
To enable messaging and chat between users and churches.
To publish and manage content created by churches and administrators (news, charity campaigns, help requests).
To send in-app notifications and optional push notifications (if the user consents) about messages, events, and administrative announcements.
To process and store requests for help and charity operations (record keeping for administrative handling).
To maintain security, investigate suspicious activity, and comply with legal obligations.

No Payment Processing
The App does not include any payment functionality or process payments. If any donation or payment links are presented, they will redirect to external systems or provide offline instructions; no payment credentials are collected or stored by the App.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

Map services: We use third-party map services (e.g., Yandex Maps) to display locations. These providers may process location-related data under their own privacy policies.
Hosting & storage: Uploaded photos and application data are stored on our servers or third-party cloud hosting providers. File names are randomized and images are resized upon upload.
Analytics & push services: If analytics or push notification services are used, they may collect technical and usage data. Such services will be disclosed in advance in this policy and configured to minimize personal data where possible.
Legal requests: We may disclose data to comply with laws, regulations, or valid legal requests from public authorities.

Storage and Retention
We retain account information and content for as long as the account exists or as necessary to provide the service. Help requests, messages, and content created by churches are stored until deleted by the account owner or removed by administrators in accordance with applicable rules. If you request account deletion, personal data associated with your account will be deleted in accordance with our deletion procedures described below.

Account Deletion and Your Rights
Users can delete their account at any time via profile settings or by contacting support. Upon deletion we will remove personal data from active systems; backups may persist for a limited time as required for recovery or legal compliance. You also have the right to access, correct, or request export of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact the developer email listed in the store.

Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, no transmission over the internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Children
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age applicable in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If you believe a child’s information has been submitted, please contact us to request removal.

International Transfers
Data may be stored and processed in countries other than your own. By using the App you consent to transfer and processing of your data in those countries as necessary to provide the service.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version and effective date will be available in the App or via the developer’s website. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
